Artist Statment

As a Graphic Designer, it allows me to use my talent for others. I love being able to create for others and have dreamed of seeing the things I’ve designed out for the world to see.

 

Graphic Design allows me to combine my love for art, making things for others, and seeing it on products. Being able to design things for individuals, companies, and brands is fantastic; seeing a design you’ve created is all that amazing. Logos are the identity of many brands. All you have to do is look at it and be able to recognize it for the brand it is. That is something I want to be a part of. I want to be able to make something eye-catching to the viewer. 

 

My work is greatly inspired by things around me and my interests. I use plants, Fungi, cats, my hobbies, or even designs I see around me in my day-to-day life as inspiration and allow them to fuel my creative thinking. This allows me to think about what I can design next for others, myself, or catering to those with similar hobbies.

 

What’s so special about Graphic Design is the way it is. I love instantly deleting designs that aren’t working and improving upon the idea. Size isn’t a problem because it can be manipulated; I do not have to worry about erasing. All I have to do is keep trying until I get the design right. I love the way it looks, the things you can do with it or add to it, and being able to change up specific aspects of it to change the style you get from it. It’s limitless; that’s what makes it so unique.
